IDEAS THAT HEAL, HOSPITALS THAT PERFORM | Healthcare Experience of Principal Architect & Senior Partners
DKA plans hospitals that accommodate technologies that have not been invented yet, fosters breakthrough research, and supports life critical activities like heart surgery and neonatal care. That's what today's healthcare facility must do.
Healthcare CFOs ask: "How can I attract new patients and keep infrastructure costs down?"
While physicians ask: "How does the facility help me deliver the best care possible?"
At the heart of every DKA design is a broad vision that adapts to change and balances the art of healing with a fiscally responsible real estate strategy.
Our teams of architects, designers and healthcare professionals passionately believe that form follows human need so our process for developing ideas differs from other firms: we delve deeply into the values, cultures, and actions of staff and patients to weave the activities of everyday life into the healthcare experience. We believe that flexible design that promotes healing is also good for the bottom line.
